First Communion Preparation Mass The second mass for the 'Do This in Memory' First Communion programme will take place on Saturday 20th December at St. Colman's Church, Claremorris at 7 p.m. and Sunday 21st December at Our Lady's Church, Barnacarroll at 9.30 a.m.
All First Communion children and their families are asked to attend. The preparation meeting will take place on Wednesday 17th at 7 p.m. in Curam, for St. Colman’s Church.
Children's Liturgy Rehearsal If your child would like to take part in the Children's Liturgy on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m., please attend a rehearsal on Monday 15th December and also Monday 22nd December at 6pm in the Church.
The Parish Pastoral Teams would like to congratulate all the children who successfully completed the confirmation Preparation Programme “You Shall Be My Witness†which was held in St. Colman’s College over 4 successive weeks.

Claremorris Film Society mid-week films for free in Claremorris library, tackling contemporary issues continues on Wednesday 17th December @ 8pm with 'The Dhamma Brothers': a dramatic tale of human potential and transformation follows and documents the stories of prison inmates as they enter into an arduous and intensive meditation program that dismantles our stereotypical views about people institutionalised by society.

The Diocesan Youth Council (DYC) would like to invite all young people from across the diocese to join them for their annual Tóchar walk on Tuesday 30th December. We will gather at Ballintubber Abbey at 10.45am and walk the first stage of the Tóchar to Aughagower, (approx 11 miles). Suitable clothing and footwear are essential as well as a packed lunch.
