Knock Novena

Knock Novena 14th – 22nd August 2014. Times: - Afternoon at 3pm and Evening at 8.30pm, except on Friday 15th and Sunday 17th August when ceremonies commence with anointing of the Sick at 2.30pm.

Claremorris Active Retirement

Claremorris Active Retirement Bowlers take a summer break until September. Aerobic exercises are on Wednesday from 11am. to 12noon, & Aqua aerobics on Thursday from 11.30am. to 12.15pm.in The Leisure Centre.

Youth 2000 Summer Festival

Youth 2000 Summer Festival, Cistercian College, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary from Thursday 14th – Sunday 17th August 2014.

For young people aged 16-35, an opportunity not to be missed to experience the Catholic faith and meet many new people.

The festival is donation only. Free buses available from towns throughout Ireland.

This is very important for a child to know, to save someone while being safe themselves. Even a start to build a career.

Relocation Items

Relocation Items Sale will take place at Heather Grove, Brookhill on Sunday 24th August from 12.00noon – 6pm.

Some of the proceeds will be donated to charity. All are welcome.

Artist, Padraic O'Hora

Artist, Padraic O'Hora, is looking for Claremorris locals to go for a walk with him as part of his art project that will be exhibited in this years Claremorris Open Exhibition.

Padraic's uses walking to explore and understand a particular landscape, in this case Claremorris. He would like locals to bring him on a walk along their favorite walking routes or to their favourite places in the Claremorris area.

After the walk, Padraic will create a map that will show route taken and will hopefully relate to the locals thoughts about the walking route.

Annual Summer Closing Dates

Annual Summer Closing Dates: Claremorris Family Resource Centre will be closed for our annual summer break from Monday August 4th to Wednesday August 20th inclusively.
