Lough Derg Pilgrimage Season opens Saturday 2nd May with One Day Retreats which continue on 3, 4, 9, 10, 12, 16, 17, 19, 23, 25, and 25th of May.

The Three Day Pilgrimage season begins on Friday 29th May. You can begin the Three Day Pilgrimage any day between 29th May and 13th August. Pre-booking not required.

Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock

Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock. Archbishop Neary will lead the Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock on Sunday, May 3rd. The Ceremonies will commence with the Blessing of the Sick at 2.30 pm.

A Short Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place at the 1916 memorial in the Square at 1pm sharp on Easter Sunday.

Claremorris Active Retirement

Dance to the music of Tommy Flaherty's Celtic Swing at our Easter Festival Party, with Spot Prizes, Raffle, and Light Refreshments, on Monday 6th April from 9.30 to midnight. All are welcome.

Bowling is in the GAA Complex on Tuesday 11.30am to 1.30pm, and Thursday from 2.30 to 4.30pm. Coaching available if required.

Mayo Pink Ribbon Cycle

Mayo Pink Ribbon Cycle on Saturday 2nd May with cycling great Sean Kelly. Usual routes 51k, 112k, 180k.

Collection in Claremorris on the day of the cycle, volunteers needed. The cycle has raised about half a million euro for the Breast Cancer research in U.C.H.G. over the past five years.

Irish Cancer Society’s Care

The Irish Cancer Society’s Care to Drive service is currently seeking volunteer drivers to drive local patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in Mayo General Hospital.

We are looking for volunteers from all over Co. Mayo.

Claremorris Men’s Shed

Claremorris Men’s Shed are hosting a “Spring Fair” – on Saturday, April 25th in the Dalton Inn Hotel from 11am to 4pm.  A wide range of stalls displaying arts and crafts and foods will be available on the day. 

The Claremorris Men’s Shed will have a stall displaying their wide range of hand-crafted items for sale on the day.  Please support this community initiative.
