First Communion 'Do This in Memory' Programme

First Communion 'Do This in Memory' Programme The parents of children making their First Holy Communion are invited to an Introductory meeting for the 'Do This in Memory' programme on Monday 10th November next at 7.30 p.m. (for Muire Gan Smal and Boys N.S.) and 8.30 p.m. (for Gaelscoil Uileog de Burca, Meelickmore and Barnacarroll National Schools).

These meetings will take place at St. Colman's College, Claremorris.

Mass for Bereaved Parents

Mass for Bereaved Parents The annual mass for parents who have lost a child in death, at any age or in any circumstances will take place in St John's Rest and Care Centre, Knock Shrine, on Sunday, November 9th at 3pm. The celebrant will be Fr Colm Kilcoyne and all bereaved parents are welcome.

An afternoon talk

An afternoon talk will take place on the theme ’Finding hope after death and loss’ in St John's Rest and Care Centre, Knock Shrine, on Sunday November 16th from 3-4.30p.m. Given by Monica Morley from Mid West Radio, it will include input on the grieving process and how best to journey through it, as well as time for discussion, reflection and prayer.

Numbers will be limited so booking in advance is required.

Claremorris Active Retirement Bowling on Tuesday from 11.30am to 1.30pm. & Thursday from 2.30pm. to 4.30pm. in The GAA Complex.

Aerobic  exercises on Wednesday from 11am to 12noon, & Aqua aerobics on Thursday from 11.30am. to 12.15pm. in The Leisure centre.

The Carers Association are providing QQI (FETAC) Level 5 Care of the older person training in Claremorris Family Resource Centre on the 20/11/2014 one day a week for five weeks.
