Confirmation 2015

Confirmation 2015 will take place on February 7th 2015 and to help in preparation for this special occasion the Parish Pastoral Team will begin a programme “You Shall Be My Witness” to help children and their families as they prepare for this sacrament.

This programme aims to help parents and parish become actively involved in the sacramental preparation for confirmation. There will be an introductory talk, given by Fr. Tod Nolan for all parents of children from Scoil Muire gan Smál, Boys National School, Meelickmore National School, Gaelscoil Uileog de Búrca and Barnacarroll National School on Tuesday the 21st October at 7.30pm at St. Colman’s College.

We look forward to seeing you on the night.

Claremorris Active Retirement

Claremorris Active Retirement Dancing on Monday night is in The Dalton Inn Hotel, with music by Brendan McGee. All are welcome.

The ‘Handel Challenge’ choir

The ‘Handel Challenge’ choir of local choristers, along with top soloists and orchestra will again perform Handel’s Messiah on November 2nd in the Church of Holy Rosary, Castlebar in aid of Mayo Mental Health Association and Mayo/Roscommon Hospice.

An Evening for Parents

‘An Evening for Parents’ at St Louis Community School, Wed. 22nd October at 7.30pm: A musical performance by students, and launch of the new School App, plus a presentation on Managing Stress by psychologist Dr Gerry Farrell.
