Claremorris Active Retirement

The bus for Mayo Abbey will depart from outside the Church at 7.30pm.on Tuesday evening.

Bowling is on Tuesday from 11.30am to 1.30pm in The GAA Complex.

Aerobic exercises are on Wednesday from 11am. to 12noon.& Aqua aerobics on Thursday from 11.30am to 12.15pm in The Leisure Centre.

Members are invited to the official opening of the F.R.C. centre on Saturday next.

Walk the walk!!

Walk the walk!! Join us at Rafterys Centra, Lower James St, on next Saturday 18th at 11am for our annual Pink Day walk in aid of Action Breast Cancer.

Walkers meet at Centra and walk the 5km at Clare Lake. It will only take an hour of your time for a very worthy cause.

All donations gratefully appreciated. Refreshments served after.

Barnacarroll Group Water Scheme A.G.M. will be held on Wednesday 15th Oct. at 8.30pm in Barnacarroll Sports Centre.

Volunteers required for Coder Dojo Claremorris. Basically what Coder Dojo entails is teaching children the basics of computer programming. Must have computer programming experience.

For anyone working in this type of area or students studying anything which entails computer programming it helps build up your skills (no better way to learn than to pass on knowledge).

The ‘Handel Challenge’ choir

The ‘Handel Challenge’ choir of local choristers, along with top soloists and orchestra will again perform Handel’s Messiah on November 2nd in the Church of Holy Rosary, Castlebar in aid of Mayo Mental Health Association and Mayo/Roscommon Hospice.
