Claremorris Active Retirement

Claremorris Active Retirement Bowling is on Tuesday from 11.30am - 1.30pm.& Thursday from 2.30pm - 4.30pm32 in The GAA Complex.

Aerobic exercises are on Wednesday from 11am. to 12noon and aqua aerobics on Thursday from 11.30am - 12.15pm in The Leisure centre.

Good Luck to Claremorris Under 21 GAA Football Team competing in the re-play of the County Final this Sunday 21st at 1pm in Elvery’s McHale Park, Castlebar.

Diocesan Youth Council

The Diocesan Youth Council (DYC) would like to invite all young people from across the diocese to join them for their annual Tóchar walk on Tuesday 30th December.

We will gather at Ballintubber Abbey at 10.45am and walk the first stage of the Tóchar to Aughagower, (approx 11 miles). Suitable clothing and footwear are essential as well as a packed lunch.

Afternoon of Prayer in honour of St. John the Evangelist

Afternoon of Prayer in honour of St. John the Evangelist to celebrate his Feast Day, will take place on Saturday 27th December 2014 at Knock Shrine.  

Commencing with Adoration and talk at 4.00 p.m. and concluding with Holy Mass at 5.15 p.m.  

The afternoon will be conducted by Fr. Thomas Surlis, President, St. Nathy’s College.
