Feast of Christ the King weekend of 22nd/23rd November. This is the final Sunday of the Church’s year and to celebrate this there will be an hour of candlelight prayer and reflections from 5pm-6pm, in St. Colman’s Church.

Confirmation Preparation Programme

The Confirmation Preparation Programme the first of 4 evening will be held in St. Colman’s College, on Monday 17th November at 7.30pm, for children who will be receiving the Sacrament in February 2015.

Preparation Meeting for Do This in Memory First Communion mass will take place on Wednesday 19th November at 7 p.m. in Curam.

The first Mass as part of the Do This in Memory First Communion programme will take place on Saturday 22nd November at 7 p.m. in St. Colman's Church and Sunday 23rd November at 9.30 a.m. in Church of Our Lady.

Claremorris Film Society

Claremorris Film Society host mid-week films for free Claremorris library, Our season of documentaries on contemporary issues continues on Wednesday 26th November with 'Blue Gold: World Water Wars' examining environmental and political implications of the planet's dwindling water supply, and posits that wars in the future will be fought over water.

The film also highlights some success stories of water activists around the world and makes a strong case for community action.

Claremorris/Knock Wind farm Information Group

The Claremorris/Knock Wind farm Information Group are having a race night in the Dalton Inn on Saturday 22nd of November at 9pm, in order to raise funds.
