Christmas Wishes,

Christmas is a very special time for all of us.  A time when, if possible, families get together.  I welcome all who will be at home for Christmas and New Year and hope you will be able to join us for our celebrations in the Parish Churches of Ballindine and Irishtown.

I extend an invitation to all who may not go to Mass regularly to be with us as we celebrate the Birthday of the Lord Jesus.  You will be most welcome.

May I wish all our parishioners at home and abroad a very happy, peaceful and enjoyable Christmas. 

May the blessings of the Infant Jesus be with you all this season and throughout the New Year.

Diocesan Youth Council

The Diocesan Youth Council (DYC) would like to invite all young people from across the diocese to join them for their annual Tóchar walk on Tuesday 30th December.

We will gather at Ballintubber Abbey at 10.45am and walk the first stage of the Tóchar to Aughagower.(approx 11 miles) Suitable clothing and footwear are essential as well as a packed lunch.

Afternoon of Prayer

Afternoon of Prayer in honour of St. John the Evangelist to celebrate his Feast Day, will take place on Saturday 27th Dec at Knock Shrine.   

Commencing with Adoration and talk at 4pm. and concluding with Mass at 5.15 p.m.   

The afternoon will be conducted by Fr. Thomas Surlis, President, St. Nathy’s College.

St Stephen’s Day Half Tóchar

St Stephen’s Day Half Tóchar at 11a.m on St Stephen’s Day. A bus will bring all walkers to Aughagower and walkers will walk to Abbey.
