Trócaire thanks you most sincerely for your generosity in supporting the organisation's work with people affected by conflict in the Middle East.

Trócaire echoes the call of Pope Francis for your prayer for Christians and all other populations that are suffering at the present time, and for dialogue and reconciliation as the basis for peace.

We remember especially people affected by conflict in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Israel trocaire.org

Death: Please pray for Caroline Glynn (nee O’Connor - better known as Pattie), Newtown, Ballindine, died this week.

May her soul rest in peace, Amen.

National Grandparents Pilgrimage

National Grandparents Pilgrimage Knock Basilica on Sunday 14th September, commencing at 2.30pm with the anointing of the sick followed by Mass with Chief Celebrant Archbishop Charles Browne Apostolic Nuncio.

Guest singer: Fr. Liam Lawton and the choir of St. Joseph’s Secondary School Castlebar.

Children are asked to compose a special prayer for their grandparents and to post it to Catholic Grandparents Association, Castlebar St., Westport, Co,. Mayo.

All prayers will be displayed and blessed at this Mass

Teenage Disco in Dunmore - Based on the success of our teenage disco during the summer, Dunmore MacHales are launching a new teenage disco in Dunmore namely “DMD' which will be commence Friday 29th August from 8 – 12 in PJ’s Niteclub.

This will be strictly U16s ONLY and will be well supervised & strictly no alcohol.
