Children’s Liturgy:

Children’s Liturgy: will continue each Sunday at 12noon Mass in Irishtown Church.

Do bring your children along where they will explore the gospel in their own language and present their artwork at the Altar during Mass.

Apostolate of Eucharistic Adoration -Sunday April 26th 2015

Invitation to - Adults, young people and children; let us pray and celebrate together, in Knock on Sunday 26th April 2015.

First official pilgrimage to the newly refurbished Basilica – See poster on noticeboard in the Churches.

Fancy living as a hermit for a while? Come to Holy Hill Hermitage for FREE.

Young Adults Programme (18-35): Cost- FREE.

Dates- 1st Oct until 1st Dec 2015.

Working retreats: Cost- 15hrs work a week.

Dates- Ongoing, so when can you come?

Hermits are provided with a comfortable hermitage with well stocked kitchen.

The Young Adults Programme includes, mountain climbing, workshops, seminars, regular Mass, mountain biking, Eucharistic services, Eucharistic adoration, meditation, spiritual direction, contemplation, regular time for silent solitude.

Holy Hill Hermitage is a Catholic Diocesan Institute of Consecrated Life practicing Carmelite spirituality

Knock Counselling Centre

Knock Counselling Centre provides a confidential Drop-In listening service for the local community and for visitors to Knock offering an opportunity to discuss personal issues in a confidential environment.

This service is available on Saturdays and Sundays, 11am to 5pm, from the end of April to October. Drop In appointments are often available mid-week also.

Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock

Tuam Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock lead by Archbishop Neary on Sunday, May 3rd.

The Ceremonies will commence with the Blessing of the Sick at 2.30 pm.

There was no winner of last week's jackpot. Numbers drawn were 6, 9, 13 & 26. Draw for a jackpot prize of €8,400 takes place Sunday 19th of April in Keane's of Crossboyne.

U8's & U10's training starts this Sunday (19th) in Main Pitch at 4pm. Children must be a minimum age of 6 years old this calendar year. All players must register on the day. Membership €30 per player or family membership included with purchase of €100 ticket.

Names and money for the day trip to Foynes/Limerick (on 12 May), will be taken at the next meeting on Tuesday, 21 April, in Ballindine Community centre, at 9p.m.

Non members welcome, on payment of membership fee, for insurance purposes.

The Carers Association are providing the QQI (FETAC) Level 5 Safety and Health at work module in Claremorris on the 23/04/2015 one day a week for five weeks.

Ballindine Tidy Towns have entered Mayo Anti-Litter League running from April to September.

Any help to keep Ballindine litter free would be a great help and much appreciated.

Claremorris Men’s Shed

Claremorris Men’s Shed supported by Claremorris Family Resource centre are hosting a “Spring Fair” – on Saturday, April 25th in the Dalton Inn Hotel from 11am to 4pm. 

A wide range of stalls displaying arts and crafts and foods will be available on the day. 

The Claremorris Men’s Shed will have a stall displaying their wide range of hand-crafted items for sale on the day.  Please support this community initiative.
