Meeting on Wednesday next June 10th in the Community Centre at 8pm.  All members please attend.

Family Graves

With Cemetery Masses & Prayer Services commencing soon, family graves should be attended to for these special events in our parish. 

If there is no one to attend a neigh-bouring grave, please help to keep these graves weed free in memory of all those who lie there.

Candlelight Rosary Procession at Knock Shrine

Candlelight Rosary Procession at Knock Shrine continues every Thursday at 9pm throughout the months of June, July & August.

Skevard Village 100th Anniversary Celebrations

Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 16th August at 12noon in Ballindine Church in remembrance of the past and present residents of the village of Skevard, Ballindine.

This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the first settlers to this village in 1915. 

All are welcome.

Parish Development Fund

Sincere thanks to all who are contributing so generously to this fund in the Monthly Envelope.

Boxes of envelopes for the next year and currently being distributed.

Tax Rebate Forms

If you haven’t already done so, please send in your Tax Rebate Form with the amount you paid to the Parish for 2014.

This includes the Weekly Collection, Priest’s Collection, Parish Development Fund and Trócaire contributions.

Ballindine Community Centre AGM

Ballindine Community Centre AGM on Tuesday 16th June at 9pm. 

Anyone interested in the running of the Centre and its upkeep are asked to come along.

Eircode

Eircode, the new postcode system for Ireland, will be launched in July 2015. 

Local organisations are reaching out to many groups including the elderly in County Mayo to spread the word about the benefits.

Ballindine Tidy Towns

Ballindine Tidy Towns have entered Bloomin’ Lovely Competition again this year and are asking residents to display window boxes/hanging baskets to enhance the village and hopefully retain the title from last year. 

Our sincere thanks to all who contributed to our envelope collection, which was very much appreciated.

Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail Mid-Summer Walking Festival

Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail Mid-Summer Walking Festival takes place on Sat June 13th.  Fully guided 18km route from Aughagower to Murrisk.

Pickup @ Murrisk Car Park @ 8.30am sharp.

Irishtown Drama & Heritage Group are proposing to stage an Historical Pageant during Heritage Week - August 2015 .

To progress this Community Project a meeting will be held in the Community Centre Irishtown on Monday night next June 8th  at 9pm.
