Early Morning Mass for Lent

The focus on this year’s Lenten campaign is Climate Change and Climate Justice - how climate change affects people.

Please support Trocaire’s work to empower people to adapt to climate change. Please pick up a small purple cross at the church, on which to write your Lenten intentions, courtesy of the National School children, and place it in the Box at the Altar.

An afternoon of Reflection, Renewal and Spiritual Nourishment

An afternoon of Reflection, Renewal and Spiritual Nourishment for Church Readers; Eucharistic Ministers; anyone involved in Liturgy; and Church Choirs will be held in Tuam parish Centre (beside Mercy Convent) on Sunday 22nd March 2.30 - 5pm.  Led by Fr. Michael Gilroy, the afternoon will be an opportunity to explore and reflect on the story of Easter and Holy Week. 

If you are available to attend please inform Fr. O’Connor or any of the Sacristans.

Knock Counselling Centre

Knock Counselling Centre will host a Support Group for parents of young people who are experiencing emotional difficulties on Thursday 5th March, 7pm-9pm.

The aim of the group is to help parents and carers to develop new ways of supporting themselves as they provide invaluable support and reassurance to the young people in their lives.

Celebrating Mother’s Day at Knock Shrine on Sunday, March 15th

A day for saying thanks to all mothers and for remembering those who are no longer with it.  To mark the occasion there will be a special time of prayer with music, reflections and readings held in the HUB Centre at Knock Shrine starting at 3p.m.

It will be co-ordinated by Monica Morley, Faith Alive, Mid West Radio.Space is limited so booking is essential.
