National Grandparents Pilgrimage Knock Basilica on Sunday 14th September, commencing at 2.30pm with the anointing of the sick followed by Mass with Chief Celebrant Archbishop Charles Browne Apostolic Nuncio.
Guest singer: Fr. Liam Lawton and the choir of St. Joseph’s Secondary School Castlebar.
Children are asked to compose a special prayer for their grandparents and to post it to Catholic Grandparents Association, Castlebar St., Westport, Co,. Mayo.
All prayers will be displayed and blessed at this Mass

A study course on the Catechism of the Catholic Church will be held in the Monastery, Castlebar, (near the Holy Rosary Church) on Wednesday evenings. An introductory talk on the course will be given on Wed. 17th September at 7.30 pm.
The course is free; notes and books are the only cost. The course will begin with the Ten Commandments.
