Diocesan Youth Officer

Diocesan Youth Officer: Many thanks to Trish O`Brien, who has just finished her term as Diocesan Youth Director and welcome Siobhán Bradley who continues the great work began by Trish.

Siobhán will be starting on Sept 1st. We wish her well.

National Grandparents Pilgrimage

National Grandparents Pilgrimage Knock Basilica on Sunday 14th September, commencing at 2.30pm with the anointing of the sick followed by Mass with Chief Celebrant Archbishop Charles Browne Apostolic Nuncio.

Guest singer: Fr. Liam Lawton and the choir of St. Joseph’s Secondary School Castlebar.

Children are asked to compose a special prayer for their grandparents and to post it to Catholic Grandparents Association, Castlebar St., Westport, Co,. Mayo.

All prayers will be displayed and blessed at this Mass.

Irishtown New Cemetery
